What is OPEN BOX?

When you see an item marked as "open-box," it means just that: the package has been opened. It's likely been returned for some reason, but not necessarily because it's damaged.

An open-box product could be something a shopper changed their mind about because they didn't like the color, have space for their item, or any other reason; these items can also be floor models and demo units from our retail locations. However, that may not always be the case. Some open-box items could have seen some use. They could show very minor wear from their brief time in the original buyer's hands as minor scuffs and dings, temporary water marks, and removed cling plastic (if applicable). Please be aware that buying open-box means some items will be used, if only lightly.

Each item has been thoroughly inspected and will arrive in 100% working condition!

As a result, these products are heavily discounted even though you can expect them to function as if they were new!

Packaging may be original or generic, and will include the item's manual and all non-consumable accessories, whereapplicable. Items such as water filters or hardness testing strips will likely not be included, unless they were unused by the original customer.

A PID controller puts instant access to temperature changes at your fingertips, and doubles as a shot timer when you lift the brew lever. The logic board behind the scenes also opens up programming options for pre-infusion (up to 10 seconds), and a new sub-boiling eco-mode that still seeks savings on energy consumption while offering vastly faster recovery times for your next shot. These upgraded features do not come at the expense of design, as the Bello+ retains the handcrafted steel build quality and simple manual controls of the Diletta Bello.

Address Changes

We are unable to change shipping addresses, redirect, or place a hold on a shipped package.

Refused Delivery

If you elect to refuse the delivery of the items you ordered from Seattle Coffee Gear or return items without requesting a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization), a 20% restocking fee plus original shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.

Delivery Policy (Within 5 Days of Delivery)

Please report damaged, missing, defective or malfunctioning merchandise immediately and no later than 5 business days of delivery.

Damaged Merchandise

Items are carefully packaged to protect against damage during shipping. Please thoroughly inspect your package when it arrives for any shipping damage. If an item appears to be damaged, do not attempt to use it and notify us immediately so that we can begin the claims process with the shipping vendor.

Missing Merchandise

Please note that we often ship orders in multiple packages. However, if items are apparently missing from your order, please report it to us immediately so we can track packages and replace the shipment if necessary.

Defective or Malfunctioning New Merchandise

If any item is not working properly or if a consumable item was received expired, please contact us immediately so that we can send a replacement. All replaced items will have a new 5 day return window extended to it, or the remainder of the return window from the original purchase, whichever is longer.

10% Restocking Fee

To receive full credit on your order, all original components must be returned with the order.

If the return arrives in any condition other than the original condition with which the order was shipped we will be forced to charge a 10% restocking fee

A 10% restocking fee will also be applied to all buyers remorse returns that have been opened and used with returns reasons being 'changed my mind' 'just didn't like the item' or 'found a better price'
